As part of the Cómpeta Photo Days 2026, the village of Cómpeta hosts a special exhibition of international travel photography: the winning images of the INTA International Travel Photography Awards 2025. This prestigious competition brings together outstanding photographic work from around the globe – now presented in the heart of Andalusia.
The INTA International Travel Photography Awards
The INTA International Travel Photography Awards are among the notable international competitions dedicated to travel photography. Open to both professional and amateur photographers, the awards celebrate images that capture cultural diversity, human stories, nature, landscapes and urban life experienced through travel.
Multiple categories – including Landscape & Nature, People & Portrait, Street Photography, Wildlife, and Smartphone Photography – reflect the broad and contemporary understanding of travel photography today.

Each image offers a unique visual narrative – from intimate human encounters to powerful landscapes and wildlife scenes – highlighting the diversity and strength of contemporary travel photography.
Exhibition in Cómpeta
The exhibition “Travel Photographer of the Year 2025” will take place from 13 to 15 June 2026 at the Museo del Aceite in Cómpeta and is an integral part of the Cómpeta Photo Days 2026.
For three days, Cómpeta becomes a meeting point for international photography, creative exchange and visual inspiration. The INTA winners’ exhibition perfectly complements the festival’s international curatorial concept and reinforces its global perspective.

Die INTA International Travel Photography Awards
Die INTA International Travel Photography Awards zählen zu den wichtigen internationalen Wettbewerben im Bereich der Reisefotografie. Sie richten sich sowohl an professionelle Fotograf:innen als auch an ambitionierte Amateure und würdigen Arbeiten, die kulturelle Vielfalt, menschliche Begegnungen, Natur, Landschaft und urbane Räume auf Reisen sichtbar machen.
Der Wettbewerb umfasst mehrere Kategorien – von Landscape & Nature über People & Portrait, Street Photography, Wildlife bis hin zu Smartphone Photography – und steht für einen offenen, zeitgemäßen Zugang zur Fotografie.

Die Ausstellung „Travel Photographer of the Year 2025“ findet vom 13. bis 15. Juni 2026 im Museo del Aceite in Cómpeta statt und ist Teil der Cómpeta Photo Days 2026.
